Good 'N Plenty Restaurant
My husband and I stopped for a late lunch on Sunday afternoon as we traveled home to MD after visiting our daughter in northern PA. We both ordered the PA sampler and didn't say a word for about 5 minutes after our food arrived. Our meals were delicious! The portions were generous, but not over the top. I especially loved the tenderness of the sauerkraut, and my husband loved the fried chicken. Our waitress, Heidi, was friendly, knowledgable, and helpful...just an all around excellent experience!!
Our friends suggested that we eat at Good'NPlenty. They said the food was good. Well they were right. I had the turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, and applesauce and it was delicious. My husband had the open face turkey dinner. We had a wonderful waiter. His name was Issac. He will remember us because I asked for a gob instead of whoopie pie. In our area of Pennsylvania-near Altoona we call them gobs. It was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
We eat at Good and Plenty around 3 times a year. We live in south jersey so we look forward to our day trips up to Lancaster Couny. We eat menu dining in the farmhouse. We love the food, the service is great, and the waitresses are very friendly. Besides that we order take out every Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend. We get enough food to feed 13 of us. We order ahead chicken mashed potatoes, noodles, and rolls. It is always ready when we get there and always very warm and fresh. Love it! We eat lunch with our Amish friends! Lots of food, good fellowship.and just delicious. I usually always get a pie or two to bring home. Love the lattice work on the top! Good and Plenty won’t disappoint! Try it you will love it!
